Below is a chart that shows the locations and populations of all the Fish that can be found in Fish Wrangler.
Each fish population is colour-coded according to the key below.
Non-Existent | Possibly Extinct | Almost Extinct | Near Extinction | Critically Endangered | Endangered | Threatened | Extremely Rare | Very Rare | Rare | Average | Numerous | Fairly Prolific | Overflowing |
NonE | PE | AE | NE | CE | E | T | ER | VR | R | A | N | FP | O |
(Those populations in a white font qualify as a Great Catch)
The table can be re-sorted by Fish Name or its population status per island via the controls in the header (with the populations ordered from most rare to most prolific).
Farovia[]
∆ These Fish are also present at Sans Culpra when surface fishing.
† Even though the Vampire Fish only regularly swims in Waterport and Fishertonville waters and can be caught there at all times, many Wranglers have observed that the Vampire Fish can suddenly appear around midnight and noon FVT (GMT-7) and make a guest appearance everywhere!
± The Volcano Rock Fish is only present in Blue Crescent to unlock Magma Reef. To date, there have been no sightings of this fish in Blue Crescent once Magma Reef has become unlocked. Note that the Volcano Rock Fish is different from the other 'mission' fish as the Volcano Rock Fish can be caught in BC, whereas the others are only encountered to unlock the next location. This includes the Bottom Feeder Fish which has not been included as a Lake Freezberg inhabitant as it is not possible to actually catch the depressed guppy from that location, he can only be caught in Snowpeak River, and the Parrot Fish as you don't catch that fish in Sigs Wasteland, merely 'wing' the feathered fish - the Parrot Fish can only be caught in Parribea with the specialised pole(s).
¥ Sir Sigfried Fish, the elusive new owner of Sigs Shell Shoppe, has been sighted around all the various islands, but he can only be caught in the final level of his Underground Lab - Sigs Wasteland.
‡ Wranglers have told tall tales of catching this rare beast at all of these locations. Dare you believe the myth?
